Proposed improvement measures along the Main Mall
This project aims to promote walking as a mode of transport in Botswana's capital by providing (or improving) dedicated pedestrian facilities in four central areas of Gaborone:
- the bus rank
- the new CBD
- the Main Mall
- the government enclave
The project includes the preparation by the consultant of concept designs, the organization of a seminar on the proposed improvement measures, the elaboration of tender documents for the preparation of detailed designs and the implementation of the improvement measures, as well as the costing and phasing of the works.
