Sociology and Behavior

Mobility is not just about roads, cars, or bicycles. It is fundamentally about people: individuals who move, interact with the territories they traverse, and enjoy the spaces where they reside.

To address tomorrow’s challenges, it is essential to place people at the heart of planning and design studies. This involves going beyond simple vehicle flow analyses to integrate the sociological specificities of users: age, gender, disabilities, motivations, and more. This holistic approach enables the development of truly adapted solutions capable of sustainably transforming behaviors.

This also involves stronger collaboration with partners and clients by diversifying the sources of collected information. Transitec is committed to this approach, as demonstrated by an innovative dissertation on traffic evaporation, which highlighted key issues for more sustainable mobility. The company also contributes to cutting-edge research on topics such as teleworking to anticipate and respond to societal changes.
