The Francophone training session "The tools of urban planning", proposed by the French Development Agency (within the framework of the "steering local authorities" cycle) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of the Swiss Confederation and led by Transitec and Urbaplan, was completed on 4 May 2018.
Mr. Junod, Mayor of Lausanne, handed the diplomas to the 21 participants coming from Tunisia, Jordan, New Caledonia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Mali and Togo. The city of Lausanne, which chairs the Urban Development Committee of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) is indeed a partner of this training. For more than ten years, Transitec and Urbaplan have been running this training session, which is taking place in Marseille at AFD / VAL and in Lausanne at Transitec.
