MobiliseYourCity Mastering Mobility training program: GHG emissions impact assessment of Sousse Urban Mobility Plan

a Technical assistance has been provided to the Municipality of Sousse with the support of the Euro-Mediterranean Transport Support Project (EuroMed TSP) and in partnership with MobiliseYourCity to assess the impact of the implementation of Greater Sousse's SUMP on greenhouse gas emissions, using MobiliseYourCity's emissions calculator.

To find out more about this technical assistance, a first webinar in English will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 11:00 to 12:30 CEST as part of the MobiliseYourCity Mastering Mobility training program. More information on the program and speakers can be found here.

This session will present the case of the territory of the Greater Sousse, Tunisia, an agglomeration that has prepared an Urban Mobility Plan to improve urban mobility conditions following the elaboration of the Tunisian NUMP. With technical assistance from the EuroMed Transport Support Project and MobiliseYourCity, the Greater Sousse agglomeration was able to assess the GHG emissions impact of its SUMP considering several scenarios:
