
Florian Meyer

Florian Meyer, a civil engineer specialising in mobility from the EPFL, has worked at Transitec in Lausanne since 2001. He has held various positions, including design engineer, project manager and design director, before joining the Swiss management team in 2010 and being appointed director of Swiss operations in 2020. He has extensive experience of transport planning in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in the design of public transport facilities, network operations and the development of public spaces to promote soft mobility. He is a member of the Swiss Association of Mobility and Transport Specialists (SVI), the ‘Carrefours’ technical committee of experts of the Swiss Association of Road and Transport Professionals (VSS), the Cantonal Consultative Commission for Spatial Planning (CCCAT) of the Canton of Vaud and the committee of the Employers' Union of Vaud Engineers and Architects (UPIAV).
